    razer software crashes win7

Hi. Its my first time here. Ive had my system for 3 mos., no problems. playing a shooter game called a.v.a on IJJI.com. i installed the software for my new razer mouse, and after 5 mins of playing, bsod. i see threads for this problem for lots of different games, but the thing they seem to have in common is win7. my friends use the same software in same game without issue, but i am the only one using win 7. everyone else has xp or vista. i zipped my latest minidump to upload here, so i will try it now.

First of all, make sure that you have the latest drivers and firmware installed. Also, make sure that you're using the correct version (Windows 7 x86/x64). Here's the razer downloads directory.

    Razer Support

For future technical support questions, you may want to update/revise your system specifications via your User CP. In many cases, this is the only way supporters can get the required information to diagnose your problem. Make sure to use the exact model numbers of all your hardware, the more detailed the better.

The mouse is a deathadder 3500. I have the right driver and firmware as confirmed by razer support staff. driver ver 3.0 and firmware 2.33. i updated it. i unplugged and replugged the mouse like it said. I am sorry for the sketchiness of my details. If more specific details are required i will provide as necessary.

Ok, I updated my system info to the best of my ability. Thanks for the HEADS up there notsogrey. I am going to try running the application in different resolutions. Also going to get a screenshot of the bsod itself. I have contacted razer support team and they usually respond within 24 hrs.

I followed the link to update my system info and i did so to the best of my ability. My experience with computers is ive owned and operated computers for 10 years, but i know nothing about drivers. Maybe this isnt normal, but i really dont. I added the minidump file i thought maybe it would explain something. Ive never had a computer blue screen on me before. I unplugged the razer mouse shut the computer down plugged in my logitech cheapie mouse again turn the computer on and i am able to play without uninstalling the razer software. I just cant play with the razer software running. i have the adjustable settings of the razer mouse on 1800 dpi and the highest tolling rate which is 1ms. i tried the standard tolling rate of 125hz as well it made no difference. bsod happens after 2-3 mins of gaming. I am sorry that i don't know what else to include here.
I appreciate any time anyone can spend helping me. Thx again carl.

This crash was probably caused by your death adear mouse driver. I would remove the current driver and re-install a fresh copy.

I would also recommend a system file check
to do so type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow (note the space between sfc and "/")

    Let us know the results
