    help! LRX has stopped working on bootup (3 reports)


    Hi, 3 reports on windows 7 startup when i reboot.
    here they are.
    they're appcrashes APPCRASH re: driver_update.exe.

    Can you help me get rid of them?

    I'd try a couple of these free, online anti-malware scans: Malware

    If it turns out that you're infected, please post in the Security forums: System Security - Windows 7 Forums

    If it turns out that you're not infected, please search your system for the file "driver_update.exe" (without the quotes)
    Once you locate it, right click on it and select Properties.
    Then click on the Details tab and let us know what it says there.

    usasma! you're wonderful, but i found out the problems. they were many programs that were running updates on boot up. I stopped most biggies from running and that seemed to do the trick.
