    Broken Control Panels

    Hi!

So I recently got an Alienware m11x. I attempted to install more memory into the laptop. It worked ok at first and then I got a couple of blue screens on start up so I swapped out the new memory for the old figuring it was defective. I put the old memory which stopped the crashes.

My problem now is that since those few crashes very few if any of my control panels will work. Explorer crashes from time to time. I have run the sfc /scannow command which said it found errors but could not fix them.

I have been all over the internet looking for a solution and cannot come up with one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would try a Repair Install.
