Constant BSOD on day old computer

I just built a new computer yesterday with windows 7 64 bit home premium edition. The screen randomly goes black at times just surfing the web, playing games etc, practically under any condition. Some times the screen goes blue, grey with lines and blue with lines.

When I try to run any test to verify what the problem maybe it crashes as well so I'm not sure if its cpu, memory, video card or mobo related.

    Please help!

    My specs are:

    i7-930 2.8GHZ LGA-1366
    Asus P6T SE Motherboard
    Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz Triple Channel Kit
    Seagate 500GB 7200 RPM
    Sapphire Radeon HD 5870 850Mhz core 1GB
Corsair TX 650W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply

Excellent advice from Captain. Also, in motherboard bios, ensure Plug and Play OS is set to yes.
