Windows 7 freezes and crashes all the time!

I still have this problem if anyone can help me out.

Sorry, not trying to be annoying by bumping my posts, I just don't think anyone will look a few pages back to find it.

I used to be a big Microsoft fan and now I'm hating them. I'm even thinking of install some other OS, major deal for me.

I've been tryin to track the freezing issue down. My disk frequency randomly spikes to max and the program that has been in use stops responding. It's up to 5 min now and seems to be growing. NO REAL OS WOULD ALLOW THIS.

I hear google has a new OS and I'm thinking that might be a good choice. I just can't stand to install anything like Unix ... but I might now.
