After sleep BSOD with <1TB HD

Okay, well thanks for coming back to post your findings anyway. Thread Starters returning with results, good or bad, is what makes SevenForums a helpful resource and keeps it alive.

This driver is a known BSOD cause in Win7 (and Vista at times).
Please visit the Asus website and download a fresh copy of the ATK0110 ACPI Utility (it's in the Utilities download section for your mobo). Install it and check to make sure that the new date is 2009 or 2010.

Then monitor for further BSOD's.

FWIW - there's enough different errors here to wonder if you have a hardware problem (although issues with the ASACPI.sys driver can look like hardware problems).
What is the make and model of your motherboard?
See if you can borrow a video card to replace yours and test with (to rule out a problem with your card).

BTW - I have an Asus P6T Deluxe board that just will not hibernate without a BSOD. I've tried everything with it and finally just gave up on sleep/hibernation (but I get different STOP errors).

To check, go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers and check the date on the ASACPI.sys file/driver that you'll find there. If it's something later than 2005 you've done it correctly!

Here's a link to the drivers for your network card: Â Network Adapter Driver for Windows 7* (the link that I first gave didn't work). Download and install them.

A BIOS flash might help - but they are dangerous to do. Let's see if the ASACPI.sys driver and the network driver fix things first.

Are you having any further BSOD's?

As for the network driver, please do the following:

Obtaining Hardware ID's to help Identify Hardware
- Go to Start and type in "devmgmt.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter
- Expand the Network Adapters category by clicking on the + sign to the left of it
- Right click on the network adapter (if there's more than one, do this for all of them) and select Properties.
- Then select the Details tab.
- In the dropdown box, select "Hardware IDs" - and match the info to one of the following descriptions:
- - If the Hardware IDs description contains VEN_ and DEV_, then let us know the 4 characters immediately after the VEN_ and the 4 characters immediately after the DEV_
this is a PCI device and we'll look up the information at http://www.pcidatabase.com
- - If the Hardware IDs description contains VID_ and PID_, then let us know the 4 characters immediately after the VID_ and the 4 characters immediately after the PID_
this is a USB device and we'll look up the information at http://www.linux-usb.org/usb.ids
If you don't have those items in the Hardware IDs description, copy down the entire string of the first entry and include that with your next post.
