Laptop starts to a blank screen with white cursor blink

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate
System Manufacturer:HP
System Model: Hp Pavilion DV6718CA Notebook PC
Processor: AMD TURION64 X2 (1.90GHz)
Memory: 2GB RAM

When I start my laptop it display the Hp screen as usual but after that instead of booting it display a blank screen with white cursor blinking at the top LEFT corner, the fan is working like... after 3 minutes of waiting the Windows 7 logo appears and Windows Starts. I thought the problem might be that the bootloader got corrupted or something, so I tried booting with Windows 7 CD both but no change still same blank screen with white blinking cursor But Now it gives me Operating System not Found after 3 Minutes Windows Starts Normally. Please note that I have been able to enter Bios setup and change the booting option as well. Bios was showing all the hardware as it usually shows. I Tried to change the HardDisK But the Problem Remained.
When I try to Press F11 recovery button it performs same thing, blank screen with blinking cursor.
I Also Tried to Format but because when i boot it doesnt take the cd and remain with the blank screen with blinking cursor. After Window Started I Entered and run the setup.exe and installed Windows again but the problem was not solved !!!

Any Help ??? :confused:

I can't try a repair install because as i wrote in the body that it Doesnt take the cd ( it does read it ) but i got nothing but a black screen with the cursor and if i wait i get operating system failed ( i only get that when i put a cd to boot from it), After 3 min exactly the black screen goes and windows 7 logo show Starting Windows...

Have you checked out MSconfig and its settings. If not, go to the command prompt and run msconfig. Check all the tabs including boot and startup items and then run it in diagnostic mode. If the problem cannot be directly identified, try shutting down non-Microsoft services and restarting. If that works, enable the first 50% of non-Microsoft services and retry etc. Post your results.

If these steps don't work, consider resetting your bios to default values.

I Didnt Work The Same , Now its Worse !!! it doesnt login anymore just the same black screen with the cursor and its gives Operating System Not Found , one time only it opened in safe mode after i set the things like u said but then it gave operating system not found , and the fan is working like hell...

+ i tired resetting the bios to the default values but the same...

what next? ? ? ? ?

Is your CD-ROM set as first boot device in your bios? If possible set it now. Insert your Windows CD and restart your laptop. Try reinstalling. If you have your data saved, use the Windows CD to reformat your hard drive and then reinstall Windows.

It will not read the CD unless it is the first boot device in the bios.

Have you checked out Capt.Jack Sparrows suggestion?

Why are you suffering like this, ayman2alex? You problem doesn't involve Windows, it got problems BEFORE Windows loads, which means it's hardware issues... Why don't you spare your time and frustration and go to a HP service center and make them fix your hardware?
