    Error Copying Large file

Hello, i hope i could a help for this problem.
I just bought a new laptop last week, Acer aspire 4740, intel core i3 processor with a Windows 7 home premium software installed.

The problem i am facing is every time i will be copying large file from my external hard drive to the laptop it crashes and gives me a blue screen saying that the laptop shut down, it shows a countdown on the bottom and in less that a minute my laptop is off.

It is really annoying and it is been happening everytime i do copy paste.

Someone told me it is Mcaffee antivirus problem, i uninstalled and put norton antivirus and still same problem.

Anyone can help me in this issue??

    Thanks
    Elie

    Hi Elie

We need a ton more info.. How big is the file. How are you copying it (drag and drop, a 3rd party app, etc), what is the exact error message.

Plus we need that files that is created called the DMP file. Use these to find and upload it to us. https://www.sevenforums.com/crash-loc...d-problem.html

Let us know if you need help
