First time poster, believe me I have crawled through many postings but cant find anything just related to dxgmms1.sys.
I was recently getting BSOD on XP PRO, so i updated just today to Win 7 Pro (overdue i know). I was hoping this would clear the problem but it hasnt. Today alone I have had 3 BSOD's of which I have attached.
I used BlueScreenView which pointed me to dxgmms1.sys and KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED in all 3 cases.
I have checked the memory with the windows tool, all fine, did a system scan (sfc) and its fine. And have updated the latest display drivers from nvidia.
My system specs are:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 @ 3.00GHZ (no overclocking)
MOBO: P5K SE
Gfx: Nvidia Geforce 9800 GTX +
If I am leaving any details out please let me know. A few times a day is getting really annoying, on the bright side at least boot time has gone down from 5 minutes on XP to 30 secs on windows 7
