    System Stability Issues

I have recently built a computer and have developed instability issues. At times I get system hangs where everything freezes including mouse, time, no task manager prompt, etc. Other system hangs include freezing with no task manager prompt, but I get mouse movement and time movement. All have occurred sporadic times like surfing the web, opening a window, using minimal resources, all resulting in a manual hard reboot. Most of my programs are not installed until i get this stability issue resolved. The times when I get a bsod and memory dump is when doing something intensive like running prime95. It happens usually an hour or two into the process. Below are some of the BSODs. If you could take a look and let me know what you think it could be.

    Thanks
    John

    John

These all had different causes, but were related to TCP. One thing of note is that your Zone alarm client is in most of them. I suspect that ZAP is actually the cause in all of them. I would un-install zone alarm, and installing Microsoft Security Essentials in its place.

I would also run a system file check
(type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc scannow)

    Let us know the results

    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
    Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 000000000000001c, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: 0000000000000008, Parameter 0 of the exception
    Arg4: 000000000000001c, Parameter 1 of the exception

    Debugging Details:

Ok, I have removed ZoneAlarm Free. MSE has been installed from the beginning. I have read on a forum who had a similar situation and they concluded, that as of now, MSE and ZA do not work well with one another. I ran the system file check and no integrity violations were found, so that is good. So far I have noticed there seems to be more stability, no more freezing doing simple operations. I was able to run Prime95 in the default bios settings for 4 hours with no BSODs. So I think that did the trick.

However, I have run into a few BSODs when trying to overclock my cpu. I do not know if this is overclock related, driver related, or hardware related. Below are my messages and dumps when you get a chance can you give your insight.

I want to thank you zigzag3143 for your assistance, you have been very helpful in working out my computer problem. Reps for you.
    Thanks
    John

    Thanks
    John

    John

These were probably caused by sixengine.exe (part of the ASUS) mobo. If there is an BIOS upgrade this would be one of the very few times I would recommend it.

Before you do. Make sure you have a restore point, a backup, and a working win 7 DVD.

Let us know if you need help with this
