Ok, I have removed ZoneAlarm Free. MSE has been installed from the beginning. I have read on a forum who had a similar situation and they concluded, that as of now, MSE and ZA do not work well with one another. I ran the system file check and no integrity violations were found, so that is good. So far I have noticed there seems to be more stability, no more freezing doing simple operations. I was able to run Prime95 in the default bios settings for 4 hours with no BSODs. So I think that did the trick.
However, I have run into a few BSODs when trying to overclock my cpu. I do not know if this is overclock related,
driver related, or hardware related. Below are my messages and dumps when you get a chance can you give your insight.
I want to thank you zigzag3143 for your assistance, you have been very helpful in working out my computer problem. Reps for you.
Thanks
John
