Driver Power State Failure BSOD

I don't even know why this started but it did a few weeks ago. Funny, I've never had a BSOD before even though I've owned 3 or 4 computers. Anyway, this one has occurred several times and it always seems so random. It kinda seems connected to Standby or Hibernate because it usually happens after one of those two things occurs. In fact with hibernate I can usually guess that right after it comes out of hibernate, a few minutes later I will be greeted with the wonderful BSOD.

Here is the minidump. Help would be very appreciated.

Only ran the last 5 memory dumps (the 6th one was from December, so I left it out).

A couple of KB articles that relate to the errors that you're getting and the sleep/hibernate functions:

KB 975599 Stop error when you put a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 to sleep or into hibernation, or when you restart the computer: "0x9F"
KB 977186 Error message when you try to resume a Windows 7-based or a Windows Server 2008 R2-based computer from hibernation: "Stop 0x0000009F"

4 of the dump files blame atapi.sys (a Windows driver), while the 5th blames Apfiltr.sys (a component of your Alps touchpad drivers)

I'm not sure about the exact cause - but I would:
- check to see if the KB articles above apply to your system
- update your Alps touchpad drivers
- update your chipset/storage drivers
- update your graphics drivers

Please uninstall the old drivers first, then install the freshly downloaded one's.

Please post back if that doesn't stop the BSOD's.
