    Windows 7 - Vista

    Hi -

Your RAR attachment contains what on the outside appears to be a ~ 20 MB text file. In reality it is an Everex HTML file that contains so many appcrashes from the Event viewer log, it will cause IE8 eat > 500 MG RAM and 50% CPU.

There are literally 1,000's of appcrashes along with at least 42 BSODs. I can see that NVIDIA is named probable cause in many of the BSODs. I also noticed that chkdsk has been run at least 20x.

The Event Viewer logs go back to 11-11-2009 and show Windows 7 related events. Whatever happened with XP, it was not installed on the current Windows 7 OS drive.

I found DirectX installations originating from your DVD drive an a non-OS hard drive partition -
    Code:
    E:\DirectX\DXSETUP.exe ; Description = Installed DirectX
    G:\DirectX\DXSETUP.exe ; Description = Installed DirectX

    Your installed apps -
    Code:

(0x0000000000078800) for 512 (0x00000200) bytes succeeded, but took an
abnormally long time (12593 seconds) to be serviced by the OS.
This problem is likely due to faulty hardware. Please contact your hardware vendor for further assistance diagnosing the problem.
Given the dozens of chkdsk runs in addition to the above entries, you hard drive, RAM or other hardware is failing. You said you had BSODs under XP. The road to a solution is not to install Windows 7, but to make sure the hardware platform is stable.

    HDD info -

    Run HDD diagnostics.

If harware checks out, re-install Windows 7, but leave the cloning apps out -
    Code:

... as well as the emulation device apps like DAEMON Tools

    Validate your Windows 7 installation --> www.microsoft.com/genuine
