Very straightforward I believe: bad memory. Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder. Boot from the CD, and run at least 5 passes.

Use !analyze -v to get detailed debugging information.

Comp started freezing, but not crashing. No error message.
Initial problem was noticed while playing a game of League of Legends. I had played a game previously that ran perfectly, then played another and the game would freeze and unfreeze without crashing. The computer didn't go to sleep, nor did I download or install anything since the start up. I...

Page file apparently not working (but no error message/notification)
Hello everyone! I've had quite a disturbing problem with my page/swap file recently. First, the story: my computer just roasted after some hardware failure (I suspected something around the motherboard or power). I sent it back to the Asus support team, they quickly changed the mainboard and bam!...

Page file turned off, now constant Google Chrome crashing
I recently set up a new ASUS laptop (admittedly low end, needed something immediately) with a dual boot of Windows 7 and Ubuntu with a separate data partition. I set the Windows partition at 30GB figuring that would be enough for my uses. Soon after I noticed I was critically low on space on that...

Burnout Paradise crashing to desktop, no error message.
Alright so recently Burnout Paradise has been crashing to the desktop without displaying any kind of error message. I can load the game, select a vehicle, and get in game just fine but the game will crash after a random amount of time. My system specs shouldn't be a problem at all, but you can...
