Windows 7: My brand new laptop is constantly BSOD'ying on me

Last week's excitement, where I bought my brand new laptop - a HP G62, has completely vanished.

I am left with a very unstable machine that BSOD'ies somewhere around 5 times daily - i hope it wont do so while i am writing this...

Here is what i've got

Sometime the bsod is heavily decorated with flickering pink and green lines that almost makes the error not readable...

I only installed a couple of programmes on the machine, all and all its still very "vanilla"

Can anyone see if this makes sense? I otherwise had a very good feeling about bying HP...

Can anyone see if this makes sense? I otherwise had a very good feeling about bying HP...

These were all probably caused by NETw5s64.sys which is part of your intel wifi driver. I do note that they may in fact be caused by utorrent (running at the time in all of them)forcing the wifi driver to fail
I would uninstall the driver and get a fresh copy. I would also think about using a different torrent client

The problem is apparently solved, thanks a bunch!! My laptop is running for a new record 8 hours without any bsod

I did what you mentioned as follow:
1- goto intel update site: Intel® Driver Update Utility
2- run the auto update, which identified a newer driver for my wifi.
3- reboot
4- voila!

btw, utorrent was running since the reboot and now after 8 hours it still didn't crash
