    BSOD's at shutdown,win 7 ultimate x64


    I thought i was done with this you guys helped me last time.These all started after a update from KIS 2010 9.0.0.736 and/or utorrent 2.0 to 2.0.1. They only happen at shutdown time, I do know the first one on 4-29 is from a KAS Anti-Virus driver,not sure about the rest.I can not just try to make it happen,I have tried.Maybe you guys can see more than "who crashed" software.Thanks guys!

    Could have sworn I replied to this already. Hope I didn't post it in the wrong thread!

    Looks like bad RAM. Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder. Boot from the CD, and run at least 5 passes.

    I have ran memtest86+ for about 4hrs,ran prime95 torture test for couple hrs and the one that test lots of memory,all passed.The first was from KIS 2010 4-29-10,I sent 4 dmps.I had set my page file wrong,I think last time.This only happens at shutdown,software "who crashed" labeled kl1.sys as the problem on the first one.Thanks for your helpI have downloaded the windows debugging tools and symbols to try to learn this. I finally did my own,I wish I could learn to dig deeper and see what the codes say.I have been able to get what you guys got here with this tool.
    my question is,if you have 4 gb's of ram,how big should your page file be? 8gb's because I had mine set at 6019mb.Now it is windows managed, but it had to be moved one time.Could this of caused the problem?Disk check cleaned up free space marked as used for page file and a few others errors.
    People are having bsod's over at Kaspersky's lab forum after update that required a re-boot on 4-29,they have same as I except one thing.Thanks again

    I have known Kaspersky to cause problems. I recommend uninstalling it completely if the problems persist. Then run its removal tool:http://support.kaspersky.com/downloa...vremover10.zip

    Then download and install Microsoft Security Essentials.
