Windows 7 x86, help Multiple problems

Hi all,
i have discovered something about my Windows 7 OS.
I am using x64 on a toshiba satelliteLd305 model with 3GB ram. It came originally with Vista though. Im having a problem with the machine in that every sooo often it freezes up and i have to select the option to restart WINDOWS EXPLORER (NOT THE MACHINE, JUST EXPLORER). I have been forced to try several versions of this OS, which works perfect on other machines but does not on mine.

now i feel i need to reinstall the OS again. i need some help. what could be the cause of this?

in addition i get the blue screen error quite often, mostly after coming out of hibernation.

Be welcome to SF!
First of all you need to update / complete all system spec. Any doubt, use this one:
Speccy - Builds
Was it a clean install?! Upgrade from Windows Vista?! Is x86 or x64 Windows 7?!...
Do what I'd suggested and let us know the results.
