System hangs on shutdown
Hi people.
Ive just put together a new system and installed windows 7 (clean). It hangs probably 1 in ten shutdowns, when it hangs at the same time a fan goes into overdrive and sounded like it was ready to take off, I've discovered that this is the graphics card fan and it does it everytime it hangs. I have had no other problems with the graphics card.
I have not overclocked anything and below is my set up.
1 x Patriot TorqX 64GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive (for os)
1 x Samsung HD154UI EcoGreen F2 1.5TB SATA-II 3.5" Hard Drive
1 x Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 Intel P55 (Socket 1156) DDR3 PCI-Express Micro-ATX Motherboard
1 x Intel Core i5 750 2.66Ghz (Lynnfield) (Socket LGA1156) Processor - Retail
1 x G.Skill RipJaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
1 x Asus ATI Radeon HD 5770 "CuCore" 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
1 x OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W Modular Silent SLI/Crossfire Ready ATX2.2 Power Supply
1 x Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit - OEM
Any help is appreciated :)
