Windows 7

Yeah I figured I would have to test each stick. Although I didn't know about each slot. Thanks for the info.

So I tested both modules in different slots using memtest86. Turns out BOTH modules were bad. I was told thats like 2 light bulbs burning out at the same time. I immediately thought of the blown power supply I had back in January. Cyberpower replaced that without issue at the time.

But when I brought up the 2 memory modules, Cyberpower PC basically told me to go F__K myself. Even though I was just 1 month removed from my warranty expiration, and that it was likely their cheap blown power supply that caused both memory modules to go out.

Luckily Kingston has a great return policy. Lifetime if you buy from them, 3 years if you got it like I did (through OEM). Problem? Even though it would cost me AND them NOTHING, Cyberpower won't do 3rd party warranty exchanges. So I took a chance and just filed an RMA request from Kingston, and they approved it.

Lessons learned? The windows 7 built in memory test on the install disc SUCKS. It found ZERO errors on two separate scans. Cyberpower also sucks, a NIC, a power supply and both memory modules bad in 13 months.

THanks again to everyone on here who helped me!
