BSOD. Typicaly the day after a fresh install.

I have bought a new HD, motherboard, cpu, and ram for my old case. After I put all the parts together I did transfer about 60 GB between the two old hard drives (which did heat them up signifigantly). One of the old hard drives has the windows xp I was trying to use to debug if it was a software problem. And the other old HD is needed to boot my upgrade licence version of windows 7 but the system files are on the new 500 GB HD.

I have reinstalled windows 7 64-bit a few times. I have even tried running a previous version of XP. Both seem to have worked fine but seem to have been steadly becoming unstable over time. But both installs where on separate hard drives so a single hard drive problem would not be the case.
With XP the symtoms where that the web browsers would have serious difficulty loading a page. The errors from the browsers being can not find website to the page not fully loading.
With Windows 7 the symtoms where BSOD that tended to occur the day after the fresh install. System restores via install disc seem to patch the problem for a while. Of course since I install the drivers for the mobo the first day every time I tried I can't rule out that the motherboard install cd could be faulty. My internet connection is thru linksys wusb54g v4 wireless adapter which did download a corrupted steam file (Forgot if windows 7 or xp error) (have not tested if it is a problem yet or if it was only an isolated insident).

Just today I tryed running the pc with the case open inorder to rule out insufficient cooling of the motherboard (I was worried since the heat sink for mobo had no fan and was blocked from air flow from one side by the graphics card that cooling maybe an issue). But that test failed dispite lowering the case temp a few degrees fahrenheit.

Attached is my only dmp file so far for this fresh install (windows 7). And I have some text below.

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
    Locale ID: 1033
    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 24
    BCP1: 00000000001904FB
    BCP2: FFFFF880044ED798
    BCP3: FFFFF880044ED000
    BCP4: FFFFF88001103A91
    OS Version: 6_1_7600
    Service Pack: 0_0
    Product: 256_1
Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\Minidump\051110-19468-01.dmp
    C:\Users\Eric\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-32526-0.sysdata.xml

I appreciate any thing you can do for me.
I have run memtest86 from cd at boot to test the ram I only came across an error in the very first time running the test but that might have been me messing around with settings. It also caused an error message to be printed out on test results area. But all tests after are fine adding the suspicion of only one core being faulty as one of many of my paranoid explanations of my system problems.

I am happly well within warranty and I bought all my new parts from newegg.

I am sorry for rambling on I will try to be more helpful with straightforward answers to your questions to assist me.
And again I am grateful for your help.

I suspect your wireless adapter drivers are the cause. Update them ASAP:

    Hello !!

Update the Drivers that Jonathan mentioned. Also i would recommend to uninstall your Antivirus / Firewall because there was a service exception ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000005 at PROCESS_NAME: svchost.exe which is caused by Internet security most of the times. Make sure you use the Removal Tool after to remove from the Programs and Features.

Thank you for all the feed back thus far. If you continue to help me I may have a fault free system!

As for ERROR_CODE: (NTSTATUS) 0xc0000005at PROCESS_NAME: svchost.exe. I have not installed security software (or any except benchmark programs for my failed attempt to test stabiltiy). I only have defender and windows firewall. I also used an upgrade licence which windows might scan the hard drive that had the second install of xp (I have not mentioned this install before because I only used it to make it pass the licence) on my second old hard drive.
With that in mind what do you sugest I do with windows defender and firewall?

The driver I was using for the wireless adapter I installed using the automatic option in the hardware wizard. The driver it installed is old 12/7/2006 Ralink Technology Inc. I keep in mind that on windows capatabiltiy website this adapter is listed as unknown compatibility.

I am willing to break down to spend $60 on wusb54GC (which is the only 802.1G or B adapter to be windows 7 compatibility logo). But before this I might try to use advanced wireless routing to have two routers connected together wirelessly. The two routers would allow my computer into the network via ethernet (I am not alowed to set up shop near the router). The only down side is the second linksys G router was taken out since it was causing problems streaming video from youtube and only youtube (which I hope has no effect).

My apologies to all of you that I can't just connect my pc via ethernet which may have made debuging easier.

Edit: I am wrong about the adapter choice. All I wanted was 802.1B or 802.1G compatable adapter. I am also wrong about thinking it is easy to do a wireless bridge when I have a router that is not able to have 3rd party firmware installed (wrt54g v5).

Go to the manufacturer's website to see if they have an updated driver. You can also try Googling for your card's drivers.

Good news I bought the WUSB54GC v3 drive that is windows logo compatible. I hope that I will not have any more crashes *crosses fingers*.

I appreciate your help with pointing out the wireless adapter as a cause. I will definitely inform you tomorrow crash or no crash.

CHKDSK is verifying files (stage 1 of 3)...
6 percent complete. (84020 of 140032 file records processed)
File record segment 86014 is corrupt.
8 percent complete. (112026 of 140032 file records processed)
File record segment 114962 is corrupt.
    140032 file records processed.
    File verification completed.
    158 large file records processed.
Errors found. CHKDSK cannot continue in read-only mode.

I just ran chksk for my system drive and this came back. I have done quick format on this drive for previous windows 7 attempts could that be the cause?

    What would you suggest?

Open a command prompt and enter chkdsk /r /f. That should repair the errors if it can.
