Windows 7 professional freezes at login screen

It just froze on the welcome screen and wont even let me log in (enter my password) or even let me move my mouse or whatsoever.
    Toshiba m305-s4910
My laptop came with windows vista premium preinstalled and I did a clean installed of windows 7 professional.
I have tried startup repair. Automatically fix problems that are preventing windows for starting.
I have tested the hard drive for problems and is ok.
I used the System Restore to roll back to an existing restore point.
I have unintalled and reinstaled windows 7 professional three times.
I have used CleanMyPC Registry Cleaner to clean the registry.
I have started Windows in Safe Mode.
I stopped windows defender and windows firewall services.
    Drivers are up to date.
I have loaded the last known good configuration of windows 7.
I've tried many of the above mentioned things but only work for a short period of time.
Some time I can log in but others times windows freezes always at login screen
    Regards.

If it has persisted accross clean installs it has to be hardware.

    Whats the hardware?
    Are you overclcocking (desktop only)?
