Laptop WOn't shut down properly

My laptop won't shut down properly. Nothing I've installed version 8.8 of the iastor driver, problem persists. What do I do now?

Hi Jeff -

It could be that a program is preventing your laptop from shutting down. Take a look at this and see if it helps - Why won't my computer turn on or off quickly?.

My computer is having a problem shutting down also. But also starting up too. It used to take a couple seconds to startup and shutdown, now it takes much much longer...( it's just an annoyance that will not go away... )
