BSOD repaired, so far
Hi all, new to the forums. Non teche here but I think I resolved my constant crashes. I had AVG Internet Securety installed which I have been using for years on Vista and now on "7". I removed AVG and installed BitDefender. Since that time I have NOT had any problems. Do not know why, just know I have not had a problem since I removed AVG.
Just thought I would share that tid bit of information.
I have another HDD with "7" installed also with AVG and it is locked. I was on the phone with Microsoft for hours trying to fix the problem and they told me I need to do a clean install to resolve my problems. I did a fresh full install of 7 on a second HDD, had many BSOD's and mentioned above.
So far so good, I'm happy, was just about ready to go back to Vista, which treated me just fine.
