Regular Freezes and BSODs
Hi folks,
I hope someone can help me get to the bottom of the instability problems I'm having with my Windows 7 PC. I'm getting a freeze once every two or three sessions, which I have to do a hard reset to escape. Also, when the machine is left to sleep, it will often, but not always, do a BSOD, with error 9F, driver_power_state_failure.
I've tried updating all drivers.
My sleep problems improved when I deleted my old Windows folder, Windows.old. Before I did that I couldn't wake the computer from the keyboard - I had to use the power switch - and there was no hibernate option. I guess drivers were being used from the Windows.old folder by mistake.
By the way I didn't upgrade, I did a clean install of Win 7, but on a disk with Win XP.
Attached are some of my most recent dump files.
Thanks!
