Windows 7: mySQL server... wont start

mySQL server... wont start

well i had it installed.
everything was perfect.
but recently i had to jump to a new administrator user.
and
my mysql service wont start.

  • i stopped all XAMPP service.
  • i unistalled all XAMPP service.
  • uninstalled mysql query browser using revo uninstaller.
  • restarted the pc.

but wont work.

i also tried different ports [3307/3308 etc .]. that also failed.

any idea how can i start the service?

Check event viewer, it should list something about MySQL.

Check your my.ini file to make sure they reference the correct locations for the basedir and datadir.
