    Crash entering sleep mode

The past few times I have tried to put my PC into sleep mode, I get a crash. The crash has been dxgkrnl.sys. To my knowledge, this has only been happening since I have added my third monitor to my Eyefinity setup. The third monitor uses a passive DisplayPort to VGA adapter. My guess is that something does't quite work right with the ATi drivers when entering sleep. Anyway...

Would anyone adept in reading dumps kindly look thru and see what you can find?

This is just a wild guess, I am not really proficient at these analysis yet; but I'm learning. Have a look at this and see if it apples to your hardware setup.

"STOP 0x0000003B" Stop error on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2 when you use some IEEE 1394 devices

Thanks Carl for the stab at it, but I don't have any 1394 devices within my system

    HI and welcome

These crashes were caused by many things. Because they were I have to think hardware. use these to see what it means and what to try. https://www.sevenforums.com/crash-loc...-what-try.html

Several of these were caused by your video driver, others memory corruption, your USBhub, and cdd.dll. You need to follow the instructions and tell us the results

The crashes related to usbhub have not persisted as I removed the external 4-port hub that was connected.

The memory corruption has not persisted and was caused when I set my ram to run at 1066mhz. This one was an easy one to resolve as I set the ram freq back to 800mhz.

And, the 0x50 crash has not persisted either. WhoCrashed reported that it was caused by ahcix64.sys... I can't remember if I updated the controller, but no other problems with this one.

As I stated in the first post, the dxgkrnl.sys crash only has happened after using the third monitor in Eyefinity while using the DisplayPort to VGA adapter. I guess I'll either pony up some money for the active DisplayPort to DVI adapter or just stop putting my pc to sleep.

    Thanks Ken.

I was trying to see if you could find more specific info than from what I had already found / assumed.
