Freezes/lock ups

    Is it really necessary me getting the dmp files and doing the memtest86 thing if it hasnt frozen since i did the repair install? Some of the errors it might report was probably my doing from frequent reboots.

    If you are not getting any more BSOd's, it is not necessary to upload the the dump files. Apparently and hopefully, your repair install fixed the problem(s). :)

    No problem. Just glad you are up and running. But if you have problems in the future, you will know how to uplaod the dump files.

    For sake of curiousity, will you say if the install of 7 was an upgrade or clean?

    Was an upgrade version of windows 7 home premium 64 bit on a clean install initially, the repair install fixed my problems though, thank god.

    Also, thanks for the help carl and the info, knowing how to upload the dmp files for future reference will come in handy.
