    Another request for BSOD analyzation

    Hey everyone,

I reformatted and reinstalled Windows 7 Home Premium almost a month ago.

A couple of weeks ago I had a BSOD - but I ignored it as I was busy and it didn't seem to happen again.

A few moments ago I got the BSOD again and I've decided it's time to pay it some attention.

After rebotting from the BSOD, the information below was provided:

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: a
    BCP1: 0000000000000008
    BCP2: 0000000000000002
    BCP3: 0000000000000000
    BCP4: FFFFF80002FF17F7
    OS Version: 6_1_7600
    Service Pack: 0_0
    Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\Minidump\052810-15459-01.dmp
    C:\Users\Alex\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-27315-0.sysdata.xml
    The dump file is attached.

If anyone can help me identify and resolve this issue it would be highly appreciated.

    Best,
    Alex

This one was probably caused by L1E62x64.sys, Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 PCI-E Ethernet Controller (NDIS6.20).

I would download and install a fresh copy

Let us know if you need help

    Code:
    BugCheck A, {8, 2, 0, fffff80002ff17f7}
    Probably caused by : L1E62x64.sys ( L1E62x64+7e2e )

I assume by download and install a fresh copy that you mean the driver.

I believe my last Windows Update included an "update" for the Atheros driver. Maybe that has something to do with this?

Also, I've noticed that my DNC latency is extremely high from time to time. When that happens -- disabling and reenabling the Atheros LAN card from the device manager usually resolves the DNC latency issue for a while. This issue has been going on since before the Windows update, though.

I'm currently downloading a copy of the driver from my computer manufacturer's website (Asus) and hopefully that will resolve the issue.
