    That can likely be fixed by changing BIOS ACPI options.

    lol, you're the 3rd person, including me, that has had freezing issues when they installed SP3 of office.

    The problem is back. 2 days ago and yesterday I experienced no crashes, but today they are very frequent.

    What can I do?

    You can change your power options to set any way you like.
    I have never shut down HDDs, but shut down monitor - 30 min.
    to restart the monitor i use the space bar.
    if your HDD is shutdown it takes a long time to restart it, then restart the monitor. it then has to restore the files needed to come back.
    that is why I NEVER SHUTDOWN HDDs.

    same problem


    hi guy

    i have pretty much the same problem with Win7 randomly crashes.

    it was working ok at the beginning, however after i decided to installed WoW my computer is now starting to crash even when not playing. These crash is getting very annoyed now. It can crash at almost any instant (when downloading file, when computer is idle, sometime even when the screen is turn off for power saving) i have tried almost every suggestion on the forum

    i have fresh reinstalled Win7, format all partition, run check disk for bad sector etc...

    do you guy have any other suggestion?

    sounds like your WOW suks, uninstall it, since it starting crashing your system.
