It could be a hardware issue, but Pool Corruption and the other dmps point to a driver. The first ones blame a Semantic driver, i.e., Norton.

I still see evidence of Norton, either still installed or not removed completely. Evidence highlighted.

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 000036c4, memory referenced
    Arg2: 00000002, IRQL
    Arg3: 00000001, bitfield :
        bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: 8327d0ad, address which referenced memory

Thanks Jonathan for your advice so far.. it really was Norton causing the problem.. it was a trial version of internet security included with the PC. Now I uninstalled it and installed a full version of the Norton antivirus. So far there is no problem however the startup is quite slow... can you please give a solution on how to make my laptop fast again . Its a core i3 and the startup was quite fast in the beginning but after installing the antivirus it became somewhat slow. Thanks again for the advice and i will post the result on stability after 2 weeks.

You can speed up your computer by removing Norton completely and replacing it with Microsoft Security Essentials. It has much less resource demands.

I echo Ken. MSE is way faster than Norton, and doesn't have nearly the performance effect while still providing great security.

Yes, and it EMS won't make you feel that it exists in your computer. I remember that my college required all student to install norton package in order to connect to the internet, and the result was that many, many computers had BSODs

Not sure why they are so keen on MSE.

I find Avast Home Edition ( also free ) is lighter on resources and faster in scanning, it has a better user interface and more frequent updates. avast! Free Antivirus - Download Software for Virus Protection

There are other free alternatives also.

Sorry if it sounds silly, but hopefully because it was made by microsoft therefore would be better in longterm use, and any updates of MSE will be consistent with changes and updates for window
