All it says is pool corruption, which is caused by a bad driver. It doesn't specifically say which one.

do you think reinstalling my windows would solve my problem.. I have completely uninstalled my norton and now my pc seems to work just fine even the startup has improved. can u suggest any ways i can check whether all the necessary files and drivers of windows are working properly ?? Also which antivirus should i use that wont give me these type of problem..?

It was Norton IS 2010 first.. this was the trial version.. next i installed the full version of Norton AV 2010. both of them caused a lot of problems ,, really dont know why. any suggestions.??

Use Microsoft Security Essentials as a replacement. Fast, lightweight, and guaranteed not to cause problems.

As for why Norton acted up for you, I suggest contacting their technical support. I have seen numerous BSODs caused by it.

Thanks Jonathan for the support so far.. I installed Security Essentials and the PC seems to be working fine for now . I will observe for 3 weeks and then will confirm whether removing Norton really solved the problem.
