It looks as if Norton is causing the crash. Please remove it completely and then run this uninstaller: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/englis...moval_Tool.exe

Then use this free, reliable alternative instead: http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials

I am not really sure if Norton is the problem because its an original not any cracked version. I would be really grateful if someone could analyze these DMP files and give me a solution..

Norton is notorious among us BSOD experts for causing crashes. Please remove it, then post back here if you have more problems.

We really can't help you more until you follow our advice. Here is my post: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tml#post781027

Once you remove Norton and run that uninstaller, we'll be happy to assist you if you have more problems. You can install Norton again if you find it is not the issue.

Let's keep this to a single thread. I will ask the mods to merge the 2 threads.

I still suggest removing Norton for this one.

DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL (c5)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is
caused by drivers that have corrupted the system pool. Run the driver
verifier against any new (or suspect) drivers, and if that doesn't turn up
the culprit, then use gflags to enable special pool.
Arguments:
Arg1: 00005500, memory referenced
Arg2: 00000002, IRQL
Arg3: 00000000, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation

Thanks Jonathan I will try your advice and post the results ASAP. But just so you know after the BSODs occur very infrequently and when least expected. After the last crash, my norton stopped working, i.e it is now disabled i dont know why, but apart from that my laptop seems to work just fine though a little slower startup. another thing i forgot to mention is that after the last crash there was a message regarding running a driver verifier or something. The problem might be included in the last dmp file i uploaded. i was wondering whether it is any hardware issue.?
