| | Blue Screen Shutdown Problem with Thinkpad... Hi, I have been posting on the Lenovo forum with no success, so thought I might see if someone here can help me out... I have a new Lenovo T510 running Windows 7 Pro 64. When I close the lid, it should go into standby, but about 50% of the time, it will not shut down. If I just leave it alone, it will eventually reboot itself and give me this error message: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.48 Locale ID: 1033 Additional information about the problem: BCCode: 1000009f BCP1: 0000000000000004 BCP2: 0000000000000258 BCP3: FFFFFA8003B7EB60 BCP4: FFFFF800041E8510 OS Version: 6_1_7600 Service Pack: 0_0 Product: 256_1 Files that help describe the problem: C:\Windows\Minidump\061310-20264-01.dmp C:\Users\Brian\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-37034-0.sysdata.xml I have attached the minidump file in case that means anything to anyone. I would appreciate any suggestions on what to look for. Thanks! |

| | Okay, thanks... I looked at that stuff and tried reloading it, but it crashed again. I am going to be gone this week, so will have to look at it again when I get back. |

| | HI couver I'm using Thinkpad too, I got your problem sometime before, very annoying, I tried to update the bios , update old drivers and everything has been fine then. Besides that, look at any other USB devices such as wireless mouse, make sure u turn it off before close the lid, I'm sorry if I'm off topic  just very excited to know u are thinkpad user too  |

| | As an update... I deleted and reloaded the iastor stuff and it didn't solve the problem. So, I reloaded my machine to factory settings, then installed all the windows updates, but none of the hardware updates from Lenovo. It is running fine. There is a list of 10 or so things that could be updated, but since I am not having any other problems, I am going to leave it alone for now. |
