The problem is, the DONGLE is Win 7 Compatible. However the DRIVER isn't, thats whats causing your BSOD. They are using old Vista Drivers which arent playing nice with Win 7

This appears to be the website of the device manufacturer - would you agree?
    USB serial |wi-fi adapter USB |London |UK

If so, please see the tab for SPECIFICATION. It states that the dongle is not Windows 7 compatible.

BUT - interestingly enough, if you go to this page: LM Technologies | Wholesaler of Bluetooth and Wireless Products
You'll see a driver for Windows 7 in the upper left corner of the page: http://www.lm-technologies.com/drive...7%20driver.zip (DIRECT DOWNLOAD)

EDIT: FWIW - I don't recommend using these devices they are temperamental (especially with Win7), slow over the USB connection, and they have limited range. If you must use wireless in a desktop system, I suggest that you use a wireless card that fits inside one of the slots on the motherboard. They are more reliable, have better range, and aren't as slow as the USB connection is.
