    Hi kaipu
So sorry that I have left your case for long! Based on the minidump you just posted above, I can see a problem with ATi video card drivers and luafv.sys which belong to LUA File Virtualization Filter Driver and can be updated via WINDOW UPDATE
have you ever tried to re-install the graphic card drivers
Here is the bugcheck of new dump files:

Thanks for looking into it Tuan,

I just removed the two sticks of RAM and transferred the data sucessfully.
Could it be happeing because of ATI not supporting 8GB of RAM or something.

Should I go ahead and install Adobe software or do some more testing. I need to work in Photoshop badly.

    Thanks

    Hi kaipu
i'm not sure about saying yes or no with your first question, but it's good if no more bsods after what you've done.
Yes, go ahead and try photoshop

Let us know how things turn out

I hope this will help you with Driver verifier.

Using Driver Verifier is an iffy proposition. Most times it'll crash and it'll tell you what the driver is. But sometimes it'll crash and won't tell you the driver.

    Here's the procedure:
    - Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
    - Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click "Next"
    - Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click "Next"
    - Select everything EXCEPT FOR "Low Resource Simulation" and click "Next"
    - Select "Select driver names from a list" and click "Next"
Then select all drivers NOT provided by Microsoft and click "Next"
    - Select "Finish" on the next page.

Reboot the system and wait for it to crash to the Blue Screen. Continue to use your system normally, and if you know what causes the crash, do that repeatedly. The objective here is to get the system to crash because Driver Verifier is stressing the drivers out. If it doesn't crash for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation (an estimate on my part).

Reboot into Windows (after the crash) and turn off Driver Verifier by going back in and selecting "Delete existing settings" on the first page, then locate and zip up the memory dump file and upload it with your next post.

Don't forget to turn it off.

After removing the two sticks of RAM my PC worked like magic. I left it open and doing things (I automated photoshop and left it to work some heavy files. But, when I restarted the system after about 10 hours of shutting it down. It started crashing.

I think Driver Verifier is beginning to work. The windows are starting and crashing soon afterwards, again and again.

    Here are the dump files:

All of these dumps are nearly the same and all report the same error code, 1A, which is memory management.

I see you have an outdated AMD storage driver loaded:
    Code:
    amdxata.sys Tue May 19 13:56:59 2009 (4A12F2EB)
When I go to the support page of the motherboard listed in your profile, I see an Intel chipset. Here is the link: MSI Global – Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Mainboard, Graphics and more

I would be very surprised if an Intel-based board used AMD storage drivers.

Did you build your machine yourself? Can you confirm you have the correct mobo listed?

    Use SIW to confirm, please.

    I'm seeing: nt! ?? ::FNODOBFM::`string'+21b86

I too have CS5 installed and am seeing a very similar BSOD. I have a EVGA P55 LE E653 MOBO w/8GB of ram running 64bit Win7 Pro. I can reproduce the a BSOD, usually a SERVICE or MEMORY MANAGEMENT BSOD, everytime by essentially doing the same thing. And I bet it related to the way you use external USB HDs and CS5. I can get a BSOD everytime by simply coping GByte payload from either one of my two CD/DVD/BD drives to one of my USB 2.0 external drives. It copies about 1 GBytes and then wham! BSOD. The external drive is a WD My BooK USB Device.
The listed driver files are: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\disk.sys
    C:\Windows\System\System32\drivers\partmgr.sys.
    File version: 6.1.7600.16385.

Incidentally, I to am fed up with Win7 64bit BSOD and am about ready to dump Microsoft for Apple - I no longer care about the added expense. With Windows, you pay big time in downtime.
