    Error code


    Hello i was wanting to copy my file from c:downloads to crograme files but when i drag it it comes up with a box saying unexpected error is keeping u from copying this file if u us this error code witch the error code is 0x80004005: unspesifed error and it says try again or skip or cancel when i click try again it does the same when i click skip it does the same with the other files inside the folder help me please sorry for long details.

    i belive this is for windows xp and i can not understand were the system restore is on windows 7 if u could help that would be much thanked

    Right click My computer>Properties>Select Advanced system settings (under the navigation pane). Refer attached on accessing the system restore function.

    thanks but i did what the instructions said but it still has the same error message and i am running no antivirus or virus protecter

    by the way the folder i want to put my stuff in is read only i uncheaked it but when i go back on the folder its readonly again

    Microsoft Security Essentials>Download,install and update it> do a full scan (it may take some time).

    It could be malware.
    Also download MalwareBytes Free Version (as above, after install, update and scan your PC), though not at the same time with MSE
