    Right it was crashing when rivatuner booted up on start up. I have uninstalled. But i will try reinstall. How complicated is it reading the dump files? i'm always eager to learn. I'm knowledgeable in the way of components, hardware. But theres many big gaps in my understanding. I find it all very interesting and get a nice sense of achievement lol. Call me sad if you like :P I don't mind.

    Thanks again for all your help :)

    The bugcheck that you see was the outcome from a program called WinDbg. You can download and read instruction about it from Microsoft website.

    This minidump point to the InterVideo regi.sys driver. Please download and install fresh copy of it, it's quite out of date

    Hi,

    This one is different from your previous BSODs

    STACK_TEXT:
    Code:

    nt!KiSwapContext+0x7a
    nt!KiCommitThreadWait+0x1d2
    nt!KeWaitForSingleObject+0x19f
    nt! ?? ::NNGAKEGL::`string'+0x181bc
    nt!IopRemoveDevice+0x101
    nt!PnpCancelRemoveLockedDeviceNode+0x23
    nt!PnpDeleteLockedDeviceNode+0x4e
    nt!PnpDeleteLockedDeviceNodes+0xec
    nt!PnpProcessQueryRemoveAndEject+0x864
    nt!PnpProcessTargetDeviceEvent+0x4c
    nt! ?? ::NNGAKEGL::`string'+0x592eb
    nt!ExpWorkerThread+0x111
    nt!PspSystemThreadStartup+0x5a
    nt!KxStartSystemThread+0x16

    I find the mention of Pnp (the plug and play system) interesting.

    What USB devices did you have plugged in at the time of your that Blue Screen?

    Code:

    athrxu6.sys  Thu Jul 05 14:58:34 2007

    The above Networking driver needs to be updated - update from your computer manufacturers website.

    Regards,
    Reventon

    @ Reventon: he said that he doesn't have Atheros WiFi NIC driver, which I believe is corresponded to the athrux6.sys ??? Sounds strange

    Very strange - as it is definitely present. Update all networking drivers you have from your manufacturers site anwyay.

    I now get a crash after 1 startup then it runs again. Drivers have been updated and im still getting crashes. Started then getting problems between the Realtek HD audio and my 8800 GT. I have just reinstalled drivers and got most recent versions of both. Here is the last dump file.

    Couldn't see a lot of information from your last dump fil. After updating the driver, how is your system doing?
    If problem is still pursuing u, I would suggest to turn on Driver Verifier.
    Follow the instruction below:
    Driver Verifier Settings

    Beside that, I saw that you are using AVG right?
    Just as an experiment for trouble shooting, uninstall AVG > Info > Tool (32bit) - Tool (64 bit) and AVG Identity protection (if you have it installed)> Info > Tool. AVG is known to cause BSOD's on some Win 7 systems. You can always reinstall it if it is not the problem. If the BSOD's go away after you uninstall AVG, then you found the problem.
