If you replace the driver (and you get the correct, Win7 driver) - and the system still BSOD's on you - then it's most likely that the device is broken.

Again!
I'm sure this isn't the major cause of the blue screens though, since it happened when I was using my old adapter too
However! These are the only blue screens I'm getting, on shut down, the rest are random restarts throughout the day, I usually get around 10-15 :/
This one was caused by Dnetr28ux.sys which is part of your dlink range boost software. i would re-install the wifi drivers.

Well I just got a blue screen straight after a restart
I just can't seem to get through by phone to the manufacturer, I sent an email on monday and it still hasn't been returned
The random rebooting seems to be more of a problem at the moment, had around seven just this morning, but not sure why at all
When you set Driver Verifier to catch problems with 3rd party drivers - the blamed component in the memory dump should be a 3rd party driver. If it isn't, then there's 3 possibilities:
- Windows problem
- compatibility problem
- hardware problem (most likely)
Here's your Driver Verifier memory dump - and it blames a Windows component (not a 3rd party driver)
BSOD BUGCHECK SUMMARYSo, again, we suspect hardware problems.Code:Built by: 7600.16539.amd64fre.win7_gdr.100226-1909 Debug session time: Thu Jul 8 07:36:29.688 2010 (UTC - 4:00) System Uptime: 0 days 0:05:19.779 BugCheck A, {fffff80002da86b7, 2, 0, fffff80002ab9662} Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!RtlDispatchException+122 ) DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID: VERIFIER_ENABLED_VISTA_MINIDUMP BUGCHECK_STR: 0xA PROCESS_NAME: svchost.exe ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨
And what about this one? Recent one too
Are there any known causes for random computer rebooting, apart from the PSU?
The random reboots seem to be more frequent than blue screens now
Mate,
I used to open it and clean by brush never tried the other method !! Maybe you open it see if any dust is hang up !! Please be careful when you do so. It's dangerous !!
