Bad RAM, undoubtedly. Surprised memtest didn't catch it.
I have to admit I am curious - as I personally have not seen Memtest fail yet, although others have.

Which memtest did you use - the one that can be launched from the Windows DVD? or Memtest86+

    Thanks,

Memtest86+ straight from boot. 27 passes and no errors.

When I swapped out that RAM, the system hasn't crashed yet. I think I found the culprit.

How long did it take to run 27 passes, for my own information?

It was an overnight process. I couldn't tell you exactly how long.

Post back and let us know how your system is doing. I do urge you to upgrade your mouse and get rid of that old driver.

Excellent!! I hope it stays that way. Glad you updated that driver and eliminated one more potential problem. Do post back in a couple of days and let us know how your system is doing. Post back ASAP if you have another BSOD.

Just to post an update -- I RMA'd the stick of RAM and a replacement should be on its way back. I will update when it gets back.
