    Black screen after LOG OUT

    Good morning to all,

I tried to find answer to my question first and I saw a lot of similar posts- but no one the same. From the moment of installation of Win 7 Ultimate I got the problem with BSOD (in my Win it is a Black Screen Of Death). It's appear after I try to LOG OUT from system or CHANGE USER. In these cases system log out normally, but the login screen never apepars. Only black screen- mouse, keyboard, ctrl-alt-del - don't works... Only long press POWER button can help.
I already accepted this and never use log out, but now I installed the NOD32 antivirus and from this moment my laptop cannot be switched on- in the end of Win7 loading I always get a black screen. Probably NOD32 uses some specificity procedures of log out every time. After deinstallation of NOD32 system works as usually.

So the question is: how to win this problem with log out?

I will thanks for all ideas except of system reinstallation. If you need additional information- please ask me. The MINIDUMP I will attach a bit later- now I don't have this laptop available.

    Some information:
    1. Boot in Safe mode - works anytime, no black screen
    2. Laptop Asus F8Vr
    3. Win7 Ultimate 32 bit
    4. RAM 3GB
    5. HDD 320GB
    6. Video 256 MB ATI Radeon HD3470

    Thanks in advance,

    So nobody cann't help?
Yesterday I checked creating of minidump for my laptop- working normally. But minidump wasn't created during the Black screen appear- probably Windows didn't see any problem?

    Thanks for your attention,

Do you use CCleaner or anything? Is this really BSOD?
If not, I would recommend to use Repair Install

    Tuan,

    Thanks for your answer!
Yes, I use the similar soft for registry checking and cleaning (Unfortunately I don't remember the name ). But I got this problem from very beginning- immediately after Windows installation. I don't sure is it BSOD or no, but it really stuck the system- only POWER button can help.
I don't have the access to the installation disk, because now I am abroad- and cann't repair according to your link. So I trying to find the reason of this BSOD (?) first. And solution for repairing if possible.

    Anyway, thanks for your attention!

Based on your description, I think your computer freeze, not BSODs.
You don't have installation DVD disk of WIndow 7, is that what you meant?

You said you uninstall the NOD32 antivirus software, I think it's not a bad idea. Third party antivirus softwares are known for causing BSODs too.
Plesae run this system file check:
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

    Then, Disk check:
    Disk Check

Yes, now I temporary live in Cambodia. It's really not far from Vietnam. Neighbors... :)
Today evening I'll check Win 7 according to your suggestions and inform you about results this week.

    Thanks, Tuan

02.07.2010: I checked the C: disk- no results. SFC/ Scannow I didn't try, because both the Windows installation disk and Windows activation code I leave in Belarus. Here I have only laptop with installed Windows. So I'm worry that after SFC I'll need to Activate Windows again.
As I understood I don't have easy options for repairing without Windows Installation disk. So I will try to update video driver and if the problem still ocurr again- I'll keep my laptop as is. And will return to repairing after come back to Belarus. Correct?

    Thanks for your care,
