    Computer Randomly Restarts/Crashes

    Hey, how's it going?
I've had my computer for almost a year to a year and a half already and I've probably upgraded to Windows 7 for about 5 or 6 months so far.
I've been very impressed with what Microsoft has done with Windows 7 but I have a problem that really frustrates me.
Every time I'm on my computer watching a video, listening to music etc. it would randomly crash out of nowhere. It would just restart then goes to the page asking if I would like to run Windows on Safe modes. I'd be lucky if my computer doesn't crash while I type this.
I've tried running on safe mode but it still crashes as well.
I've had my computer reformatted about a week or two ago and it still crashes.
I have noticed that before of around the time of my computer going on the fritz there was a message that popped up on the Windows Action Center. Something to do about the away mode system.(See the attached picture.) I'm not sure if this is causing it but it's worth a shot to solve. So can you guys help me out with solving this particular problem or the fact my computer keeps crashing every so often.
I'm not really sure what is causing this but I hope I can get some possible solutions.
    Thanks in advance guys.
    Sorry for the long read.

If you've attempted a clean installation, there's a high chance that you have a hardware issue, however it could still be a software/driver conflict if you're using the same software.

If you receive a Blue Screen of Death, you should upload your error logs so that the more technically inclined can analyze them.

See this thread for help on how to how to post BSOD problems:

I'm not sure if I am getting the BSOD or not. Because it restarts on it's own.
Where can i find the MiniDump folder?
Tried looking under the Windows folder but couldn't find anything?
And is it possible that the Away Mode System is causing the frequent crashes/restarts?

Please read the instructions notsogreymatter has left regarding the BSOD, and DMP files. They explain where they are and how to upload them.

    I've read the instructions.

    There is no minidump folder.
My computer just restarts and crashes randomly without Blue Screens.

If you havn't already turned on minidumps, go to the Control Panel and follow this steps:
    System Icon
    Advanced Tab
    Startup and Recovery -> Settings
Enable Write an Event to the system log
    Disable Automatically Restart
    Select the following debugging information:
    Small memory dump (64 Kb)
    Small Dump Directory : %SystemRoot%\Minidump
Confirm all and restart the computer.

Ok, so I've turned it on or so I believe.

Couldn't find the 64kb option so I went with the only available one.

I'm running my windows in safe mode now because the previous 7 attempts of starting up windows failed in crashes/restarts.
I went to event viewer to find this :

Any idea of what the heck all this is?
    Thanks in advance again.

Hey guys just an update here.
My computer still restarts on it's own even after i Checked off "Automatically restart"
I'm still not seeing any BSOD or a MiniDump folder for that matter.
Is it a hardware or software problem?
How can i find out if it is or isnt?
