I posted a thread here earlier this year
out of the blue i get Kernel power errors i thaught i had fixed it however sadly it came back the only thing ive been able to nail it down to is my motherboard as my computer is a nforce chipset made by nvidia
and i am running a sapphire ati hd 5850 1 gb good card apart from these errors now my computer goes fine with my old nvidia 8800gt 512 but i like the hd 5850 i am thinking this problem is a conflict between nvidia and ati
and asus who make my motherboard is to lazy to contact nvidia and tell them and bring out a bios that works
I have tried everything known to man to fix it
i have updated bios and literally every single
driver this computer has
by the way my mobo is a Asus m3n-ht deluxe and my os windows 7 64 bit
ive even looked at the minidump myself which just tells me its related to the ati driver bullshit as neo would say
apart from
drivers i tested the ram with memtest and everything was fine i did a burn test on my cpu everything was fine i even took my ati hd 5850 back to the place of perchase it was fine
i am upgrading to a ati chipset hopefully that works and am going am3
any help would be great
