This will work

First try this

System Repair Disc - Create

Use another computer to make the DVD.

If that is not successful do this. Follow instucions for Ubuntu. It will work.

After you back up, we can do a factory reset.

Is there any other solution to this problem? I really prefer not to do a clean install, I do not think I can use ubunutu to back up 50 gb of files.

I tried pressing f8 and "disabled automatic restart after crash" but it still restarts and doesn't give me a blue screen.

Have you tried a repair install?? This will show you how to do a repair upgrade install to fix your currently installed Windows 7 and preserve your user accounts, data, programs, and system drivers.
