I would avoid any program that uses sptd.sys as it is known to cause problems in Windows 7 .... There are many free alternatives available... VirtualClone comes to mind...

I apologize for my haste...I mistakenly thought ESET was Norton. Please remove that for testing purposes.
I have gone back to my original post, and highlighted the evidence of ESET.
I see...
But I don't know how to test the BSOD, because I don't know what makes it come up.. But everything seems fine now...
what is this STPD.sys thing?
But I thought daemon tool was compatable to window 7?
I guess I'll only install it when i need it then..
Thanks for the help..
(I just want to ask... does BSOD damage the computer in any way? Like does it damages hardwares? Or make window 7 not good to use? Does it have any side-effects?)
Thanks
The BSOD is actually designed to prevent damage to hardware. When the system encounters a critical error, such as a bad driver or bad hardware, it will shut itself down immediately, resulting in a BSOD.
Daemon Tools is allegedly compatible with Windows 7, but it has cause BSODs since Vista. It will run, yes, but it is not a reliable program.
SPTD.sys is a driver used by Daemon Tools and a few other programs like it.
As for testing BSODs, just go about your normal work, and if you get a BSOD, upload the new dump.
I see..
I guess I'm going to stay away from imagin tools...
Anyway, it seems like there isn't any blue screens now.. so I think the problem is solved.. But if there is.. I'll be sure to come back..
This forum is really helpfull..
helped me twice already..
THANKS
If you want, go ahead and use MagicDisc. It is similar to Daemon Tools in function, but it does not use SPTD.
