Win 7 Pro x64 Hangs When Sleeping

Sometimes when I put my laptop into sleep mode, it does not turn off properly. The screen becomes black, but it still keeps running.

When this happens, the only way to turn it off is to hold the power button for 5 seconds.

But if I do this, I am greeted by the "Windows did not shut down properly" screen the next time I boot and I obviously lose all my unsaved data.

Is this a known issue? What could cause something like this?

In my event viewer it says:

03:02:04 The system is entering sleep. Sleep Reason: Application API
03:02:08 The WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Service service entered the running state.
03:04:00 Name resolution for the name teredo.ipv6.microsoft.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
After that I shut it down.

So could this be related to that service trying to look up some domain name it can't find? I don't remember ever enabling anything like that though.

Type services.msc in the start menu search box.

Disable the WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Service. You don't need it for anything. Stop it too, if it is currently running.

Then try putting the pc to sleep and see how it reacts.

It worked for a while now since I disabled the WebHTTP service, but now I had the same issue again last night. I let it run for a few minutes and this is what the event viewer said:

That was the point where I shut it down forcefully I guess.

Any ideas?

I don't really see "just don't use it" as a solution to my problem...

Resuming from sleep only takes a second, starting up takes at least two minutes, plus an additional 5 minutes or so till I actually have all the programs started and connected again. That's a big difference, especially since I have to move my laptop quite a lot.

It was also working seamlessly for half a year or so, something must have "broken" it pretty recently.

I updated the graphics drivers now, but it didn't help. sfc didn't find anything either.

Yesterday I let the laptop just run after telling it to sleep. Here is what the event log says:
