BSOD when laptop's video output is interupted.
Windows 7 x86.
The original OS was XP sp3.
This is a full retail version.
The system is about 3 years old.
The os has been installed about 4 months,
and has been reinstalled 3 times.
I am running a Dell Inspiron 1501 that is about 3 years old. I periodically run the video feed from my laptop to a monitor and work off the monitor instead. If at any given time I unplug the vga cord from the laptop I blue screen and reset. The simplest solution is to not disrupt the video feed I realize, however it shouldn't glitch like that anyways. Another reason I want to figure this out is that I will also periodically work from two machines and use a trendnet switch to go between the two machines while using only 1 monitor, keyboard, and mouse. If I work on the laptop then switch feeds to the secondary pc, the laptop blue screens and resets and I lose all my work. Attached is the zipped information from the bsod program.
I also saw that in my performance report html output that it lists me as having no AV (I have sunbelt VIPRE, just in case that becomes a question) and it lists my video drivers as out of date, but there aren't newer drivers for me so in case that's a question.
Thanks in advance for everyone's help on this!
