Random Blue screen for 2 seconds then Black then reboots!?!

Prepare yourselves for a long tl;dr... sorry!!!

Ok this has happened randomly within the past week.

I have not installed anything for a little while so I doubt it is that.

The first time it happened was when I was playing Anno 1404 (upto date patches),
this was after many hours of play (yet the day before I played 8 hours non stop
with no problems!!)
Bluescreen for 2 seconds, disappeared too quick for me to read, then my screen
went black and then after about a 1minute it rebooted with an error code.

BCC 124

The second time it happened was once again with this Anno 1404 game,
but it happened again much quicker this time (within an hour or two),
excactly the same as what the last one did.

BCC 124, for a second time??

I then gave up playing with Anno 1404 (I assumed maybe the Anno patches were
interfering with graphics or something or maybe not enough RAM or something).

The third time it happend was when I was playing Runescape and playing
some heavy metal ROCK ON. It was exactly the same as the first two, quick BSOD,
few mins of black screen and rebooting.

Once again the now notorious BCC 124 appears for third time. I decided enough is enough,
I am going to ask the community someone is sure to know how to decipher my
dump files!!

So (just out of curiosity) what is this SPTD and is it the reason or contributing factor to my BSOD's then?

SPTD is a driver in Demon Tools, Alchohol 120% and others. It has caused many BSOD. It would help if you would remove, it so it can be eliminated as a potential cause.

The MiniDump report does not tell us the cause, it merely shows us the way to find it.

I am working on a small project, and I am interested in this BSOD. Would you be so kind as to post back in about 2 weeks and just let us know officially that the BSODs are gone?

Thanks,
~JK
