    CAPI2 Error, then system crashes

    Event ID: 4107
Failed extract of third-party root list from auto update cab at: <http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/trustedr/en/authrootstl.cab> with error: A required certificate is not within its validity period when verifying against the current system clock or the timestamp in the signed file.
    .

After that I have an error:
    Event ID: 7011
A timeout (30000 milliseconds) was reached while waiting for a transaction response from the ShellHWDetection service.
    Source: Service Control Manager

And before it I had a warning:
    Event ID: 3
The configuration of the AdminConnection\TCP protocol in the SQL instance MSSMLBIZ is not valid.
    Source: SQLBrowser

    What does all this mean?

And what is causing my crashing?

This happens like every time I boot up, but I reboot and then its fine.

    TIA

you have an sql server running on your machine.
The network configuration of the mssql instance MSSMLBIZ is not configured properly.

    thats about the second error.

nope, dont think it cause the crash. its just a misconfigured sql server.

The first error has something to do with hardware shell.
ShellHWDetection is for the autoplay function.

Maybe disable the service :) and check if the error persist.

Hello Tia !! Welcome to SF !!

For the CAPI32 Error i have seen few thread where they manually install it from the link mentioned in the Event Viewer i.e. http://www.download.windowsupdate.co...uthrootstl.cab to fix it. You could try it.

    Hope this helps,
    Captain
