hi forumers... i need help with my Alienware M15x that i have brought during a PC show during march 2010. currently im having problem with my M15x. it keep getting BSOD. anyway im a computer noob, so pardon me. so is there anybody can help me with the problem that im currently facing.

okay my nvidia GTX 260m version is 197.16 which is the latest i assume... because on the nvidia page it stated that " Your PC currently has the lastest driver installed for your GPU. No driver update is necessary at this time."

Even if it is the newest version drivers do become corrupt and need replacing. Most apps that check the version are clueless when it comes to if the driver is working or corrupt.

It cant Hurt to follow JK's recommendations and clean all traces of the current driver off and download and install a fresh copy.

I am seeing a process, ginder86.exe, that many sites report as dangerous. In addition, I see no anti-virus product installed.
