Yet another BSOD (sometimes)

Back in January I bought a Phenom II X4 quad core 955 and ASUS M4N72-E when my CPU burned out. That was working pretty well, but then I decided to get a SSD and put Win 7 x64 and the new Office on it (upgrade retail versions). Finally got my Agility2 60GB SATA II 2.5" SSD last week. Had to install XP first and then re-installed right away with Win 7. Now i get random melt downs and occ BSOD. Any help?

These crashes were caused by several things but they all point to hardware. Please use these instructions to find out what that means and to figure out what to try.

so i used my old HDD with XP on it to flash the BIOS and then plugged my SSD back in and installed a fresh version of Windows 7. i decided to go with the "plain vanilla" suggestion and not install anything. didn't have one crash, so figured it was either flashing the BIOS or some yet to be determined software problem. as i've run into programs/hardware i've needed, i've installed them one at time. so far so good. don't have everything on yet, but i'll keep my fingers crossed! thanks for the help.

Plain vanilla (or clean) is usually the fastest, easiest way to get rid of gremlins. They are all I use.
